About KINKY GREEN

Hi there! I'm Dr. Tiffanie Davis Henry.  I'm fine if you call me, "Dr. Tiff" and even more elated if you call me, "Kinky Green."  Kinky Green is, in a sense, an alter-ego for any and all of us who wish to reach optimal wellness, ease and comfort in our everyday lives.  Our goal is to support you in your journey to wellness by offering sustainable solutions that may help to alleviate whatever discomfort you might be facing, while also helping your focus on more pleasurable outcomes.  Simple enough, right?  Well, let me tell you how we got here.

 

My background is psychotherapy.  More specifically, I am a licensed psychotherapist with a Doctorate in Human Sexuality, specializing in Sex Therapy.  I am also an Intimacy Coordinator, providing choreography and consultation for some of your favorite tv/film productions.  I initially launched Kinky Green as an extension of my private practice back in 2012, offering eco-friendly intimate products to the masses.  While successful, our growth did not allow for sufficient self-care and as someone who has crowned herself a "self-care pusher," I enforced a bit of a hiatus upon my beloved Kinky Green.

While, I never wanted to close Kinky Green, it was something that needed to be done at the time in order to give me the space needed to figure out what my business needed from me and ultimately, what my customers needed from Kinky Green.  What emerged in more recent years is an increased need for ease, simplicity, relaxation and grace.  I recognize that we all need space to be well, to treat ourselves with kindness and care, while unapologetically searching for opportunities of joy.  Freedom from mental anguish, nervousness, grief and looming discomfort, whether physical or emotional was becoming increasingly important to the populations I served in my private practice. Even greater, was the need for an insistence on our own divine right to pleasure, happiness and intimacy.  That, my friends, is what we all want and deserve.

With the relaunch of KINKY GREEN, you'll notice that we've shifted our focus just a bit. My husband, a chiropractor, was looking for a wellness solution for his practice; something that may help to assist his patients in managing their discomfort outside of office visits.  We both had long researched and explored the many benefits of the cannabis plant and more specifically, the positive outcomes of CBD within our diverse clientele.  At the same time, I wanted to provide something that helped my patients achieve all that they wanted in the bedroom and beyond and found that CBD may be able to assist in providing those solutions, as well. Ultimately, this is where KINKY GREEN was always meant to be.  Not just focused on sexual sustainability, but focused on every aspect of our lives that is craving more balance and flow. 

 

To that end, I have personally, and proudly sourced the CBD used in our products from WH Farms, a Black-woman owned legacy farm in Wilmington, NC.  Each and every product is made with hemp-derived, full-spectrum CBD, containing less that 0.3% of THC, making it federally legal for consumption and shipment within the United States.  The CBD used in our products is lab-tested and triple-checked for THC content, as well as to insure the absence of chemicals, pesticides or harmful additives.  For more information, please check out our current COAs here.
